Renato Moicano has accused Brian Ortega of chickening out of their UFC 331 bout, MMA Fighting reported. Ortega attributed his withdrawal to a training cut requiring stitches.

Renato Moicano accused Brian Ortega of chickening out after Ortega withdrew from their UFC 331 bout, MMA Fighting reported.

Ortega said a cut sustained in training required stitches in his eye and forced his withdrawal, in a statement shared by ChampRDS.

In comments posted by Ariel Helwani, Moicano said: “How the f*** do you hurt yourself a week out”.
