Combat Sports UK covers boxing and mixed martial arts for a British and Irish audience: the news, the schedule in UK time, results, rankings and the fighters from these islands.

Who we are

Combat Sports UK is published by Rise Media, an independent sports media company based in Ireland. It grew out of the Combat Sports UK page on Facebook, which reaches more than 88,000 followers, and this site is its home for longer-form coverage.

Darren Murray is the editor and holds editorial responsibility for everything published here. Every article carries the name of the person responsible for it.

What we cover

Boxing and MMA, with a bias towards the fights and fighters that matter to a UK reader: British and Irish fighters wherever they compete, the world-level fights everyone is talking about, and the cards you can watch from home. Every time on the site is UK local.

Alongside the news we keep a live schedule, results and rankings, built from promotion and bookmaker data and from the UFC’s published athlete records.
