Michael Morales has shared a screenshot appearing to show him and Ian Machado Garry agreeing to fight in Saudi Arabia on 28 November, Bloody Elbow reported. The apparent agreement came during an exchange about Morales' availability.

In the messages, Garry wrote that he wanted to fight before the end of the year but had been told Morales was unavailable. He accused Morales of avoiding him, questioning why he could serve as backup for a world title fight but could not accept their proposed bout. Garry also claimed Morales had asked to be backup for the next title fight.

Morales had been the backup fighter for the main event at UFC 330. The pair, whose feud stretches back years, met in Philadelphia after that event.

Responding to Garry's challenge, Morales wrote: "I fight whenever you want." He added: "I just want a contract and that's it I'll kick your a–."
