Anthony Joshua shares anti-doping email questioning Tyson Fury’s enrolment

Anthony Joshua has shared an email asking when Tyson Fury will enrol for drug testing, Boxing News reports. Eddie Hearn has said the fighters’ contracts may contain different testing requirements.

Anthony Joshua has shared an email on social media querying when Tyson Fury will enrol for drug testing ahead of their planned heavyweight fight, Boxing News reports.

The email from the VADA president also says whereabouts forms are needed to enrol either fighter.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said over the weekend that testing was supposed to begin when the original contracts were signed, but had not started for Fury at that point.

“This is not me saying, ‘he didn’t enroll.’ I don’t think he was obligated to enroll [in his contract] but in our contract, he was.”

Fury had not commented on the matter at the time of the report.
